Wine Label Redesign
Wine Label Redesign — “BLOOM” by Studio Hesselius
Client: Concept Project by Studio Hesselius
Project Type: Visual Identity & Label Redesign
Date: October 2025
Overview:
Bloom is a conceptual wine label redesign exploring the intersection of nature, emotion, and craft. Inspired by the slow rhythm of the vineyard and the idea of personal renewal, the project reimagines a small Mediterranean winery’s visual identity through a minimalist yet expressive design language.
Objective:
To redesign the Bloom wine label to better reflect its artisanal quality and poetic brand essence. The goal was to move away from a conventional rustic look toward a visual identity that feels modern, elegant, and emotionally resonant—something that tells a story at first glance.
Design Approach:
The label combines hand-drawn botanical motifs with clean typographic hierarchy. A restrained color palette—warm ivory, soft blush, and deep wine red—evokes both nature and intimacy. Gold foil accents highlight key elements, balancing modern minimalism with tactile detail.
Typography choices were guided by the contrast between serif tradition and sans-serif modernity, reinforcing the balance between heritage and renewal.
Target Audience:
Design-conscious consumers aged 25–45 who appreciate authenticity, craft, and storytelling. People who select wine not only for taste but for the feeling it conveys—the table it belongs to, the atmosphere it creates.
Result:
A label that feels intimate and contemplative—one that celebrates the art of slowing down and savoring the present.
Bloom embodies the essence of Studio Hesselius: design as emotion, illustration as storytelling, and beauty as quiet strength.
