It was really enjoyable to work on a series of illustrations that were connected both visually and conceptually. I liked finding a red thread between the images and the text, letting the cloud become a symbolic element that reappears throughout the work.
Including the train as part of the visual story was also a deliberate way to acknowledge the client, Kupé, and their theme of travel, both external and internal. I learned how small visual links can create cohesion and give a series a calm, dreamlike flow.
